Nærøysund is a municipality located right in the center of the Norwegian coast, in the northwestern part of Trøndelag.

How to get to Nærøysund
Nærøysund is easily accessible by car, boat, and air. The municipality is located about 300 kilometers north of Trondheim.
Rørvik has an airport with several daily departures to Trondheim, which in turn offers many daily connections to Oslo and several other national and international airports.
The coastal route – Hurtigruten and Havila – has regular daily calls at Rørvik throughout the year. This provides sea travel options both south toward Bergen and north toward Kirkenes.
In addition, there is a high-speed ferry connection to Namsos, where, among other facilities, the nearest hospital is located. The high-speed ferry also serves Leka municipality, which lies north of Nærøysund.
